Lieutenant Commander Shawn M Kelley, USN
Lieutenant Commander Shawn Kelley is the senior naval instructor with Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps University, Quantico, Virginia.  Lieutenant Commander Kelley has served in a variety of command and staff assignments, including Commander Task Unit Jebel Ali; UAE; Executive Officer Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron-3; Officer-in-charge, Maritime Expeditionary Boat Division 34; Operations Officer, USS BOONE (FFG28), Combat Information Center Officer, Electronic Warfare Officer, Anti-submarine Evaluator, Surface Engagement Officer, and Visit, Boarding, Search, and Seizure team leader, USS John L. Hall (FFG32); Assistant Damage Control Assistant, USS John F. Kennedy (CV67). He has also served as an Action Officer at DOD Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate.  Lieutenant Commander Kelley has deployed to the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, Adriatic Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean supporting operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, UN resolutions in both the Adriatic and the Persian Gulf, Counter-Narco Terrorism, Cuban Migration, NATO maritime deployments, Iraq and Afghanistan.  He participated in Operations Southern Watch, Provide Comfort, Uphold Democracy, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.


Lieutenant Commander Shawn Kelley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from University of North Florida. He one of only 200 prior officers commissioned through Seaman-to-Admiral (Legacy), a program that commissioned enlisted service members without a college degree.
