Rachelle L. Kamrath is a Communication Instructor with Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps University, Quantico, Virginia. Prior to her arrival at EWS in 2013, Ms. Kamrath was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She taught courses in Communication Studies and served as the Director of Forensics (speech and debate team) since 2005. Her areas of academic interest are public speaking, argumentation and reasoning, small group communication, event-planning, and international education.
While earning her Masters Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln (2004), she taught communication courses at UNL and at nearby Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from the University of Nebraska, Kearney (1996).
Ms. Kamrath currently lives in Stafford with her husband, MSgt. Doyle L. Lyon (Ret). They are both natives of Newman Grove, Nebraska.
